The Emotional Side
of Retirement

Alzheimer's
Lessons Learned

Reducing Poverty

You have just retired. You've had all the parties, opened all the gifts and cards, and now its your first Monday morning. You have had 2 cups of coffee, read the papers, checked your emails and looked at your favorite web sites. Its 9:45am. What are you going to do for the rest of the day, the rest of the week, the rest of your life?

We may have done the financial planning but 90% of us (according to the USA Today) have not done any planning for this Emotional Side of Retirement. I will develop a detailed plan with you on how to enjoy and live a happy, healthy, productive and meaningful next phase of your life.

Key elements for a successful Emotional Side of Retirement include: the vision thing, who do you want to be now that you have grown up, physical and mental health, physical fitness, diet, travel, where to live, education, volunteering, creativity, structured and unstructured activity, relationships, selected books to read, and much more.

Fran Larkin is the Johnny Appleseed of retirement inspiration. After listening to him for just ½ hour, you want to jump up, run outside and yell “Watch out world! Here I come!”.  If you want to know how to really live life when your work life is over, you need to hear it from Fran Larkin.”
